Innovative hair dye machine gets attention at CES

Entake (CEO Sungmin Oh) is an R&D beauty tech company composed of medical devices, beauty devices, cosmetics R&D and marketing experts, and is committed to combining IT and healthcare technologies.

First unveiled at CES 2024 in Las Vegas in January this year, EKARAK, a hair dyeing machine, attracted the attention of visitors with its innovative features. It is a device that conveniently applies hair dye to the hair in a metered-dispensing, self-mixing manner using Entake’s proprietary technology. It improves the inconvenience of the existing self-dyeing method and implements an efficient dyeing method through a cartridge-based system, which is easy to use and reduces dyeing time. It also offers a nourishing cartridge designed to minimize hair loss during the coloring process and maintain healthier hair.

IKARAwas developed as a utility concept for a subscription economic system that builds big data on users’ cartridge usage status and analyzes it through AI to provide customized services,” said Sungmin Oh, CEO ofIKARA. “At CES 2025 next year, we will provide a more innovative hair dye experience by combining IT and healthcare technologies.”
